Good news, Avon Park Middle School families! We've heard your feedback and understand the need for an earlier morning drop-off. To help with your morning routine, we're adjusting our schedule. Beginning tomorrow, Thursday August 14th, the parent drop-off gate in the front and the walker gate in the back will now open at 7:30 a.m. With safety in mind, please continue to follow the campus procedures that keep the line moving efficiently and only drop off your child in the front drop off loop and not on the streets around campus. We're happy to be able to make this adjustment for our school community!

APMS Families: We have noticed an increase in tardies to school in the morning. Our first bell rings for students to go to class at 8:11am. We want to take a moment to highlight just how important it is for students to arrive at school on time each day. Arriving on time: 1. Sets a positive tone for the day 2. Helps your child feel prepared and ready to learn 3. Minimizes disruptions to classroom learning 4. Builds strong habits that last a lifetime When students arrive late, they can miss key instructions, classroom routines, and valuable learning time. Every minute counts, especially at the start of the school day! Letโ€™s work together to help every child start their day strong. We appreciate your continued support in making punctuality a priority!
