Good evening Avon Park Middle School Families. This is just a reminder that your student will be taking the F.A.S.T. PM3 for ELA tomorrow morning. Students have been reminded and it is extremely important that your students arrive to school on time, get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast and come to school with their chromebook fully charged in order to do their best on the test. We look forward to seeing the growth students have made this year!

APMS Families: Your students will be bringing home a letter today that contains information on the upcoming F.A.S.T. Assessments. Your student will be taking the F.A.S.T. PM3 for ELA on Thursday, May 1st and the F.A.S.T. PM3 for Math on Thursday, May 8th. Please make sure to review this information with your students. There are several important reminders on this paper in regard to Electronic Devices, Testing Rules, Discussion of Test Content after Testing, Leaving Campus during a Test, and Testing Accommodations. If you have any questions after reviewing this document, please feel free to contact Ms. Morgan or Ms. Lambert at (863) 452-4333.

APMS Families: We have noticed an increase in tardies to school in the morning. Our first bell rings for students to go to class at 8:11am. We want to take a moment to highlight just how important it is for students to arrive at school on time each day.
Arriving on time:
1. Sets a positive tone for the day
2. Helps your child feel prepared and ready to learn
3. Minimizes disruptions to classroom learning
4. Builds strong habits that last a lifetime
When students arrive late, they can miss key instructions, classroom routines, and valuable learning time. Every minute counts, especially at the start of the school day!
Letβs work together to help every child start their day strong. We appreciate your continued support in making punctuality a priority!

APMS Families: Come out and show your support for our Boys and Girls Soccer Teams as they take on Lake Placid Middle tonight at 5:30pm. Tonight's game will be played at the Highlands County Sports Complex off of Sheriff's Tower Road in Sebring. We look forward to seeing you all there to cheer on our Red Devil Soccer Teams!

APMS Families: Please join us on Monday, April 14th, 2025 at 5:30pm in Room 201 for our Monthly SAC/PTO meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
