APM Families: Reminder that TOMORROW is Picture Re-takes . Students must bring their original picture packet with them if they want re-takes. Also, this is the time for students who were absent to get their picture taken as well.

Our Avon Park Middle School Cookie Dough Fundraiser starts today, and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 for Student and Staff celebrations. Your student will have receive their fundraiser packet today during 7th Period. All orders AND money are due by November 12th. Pick up for orders will be the week of November 18th.

Attention 8th Grade Families: Due to hurricane Milton, we are extending the deadline for turning in the permission slip and deposit money for Gradventure. Deposits will now be collected until November 1st 2024.
Just A Reminder: Today is an Early Release Day! Students will be dismissed at 1:15pm. Also, there is no school for students tomorrow, Friday, October 18th!

Any boys or girls wanting to tryout for basketball must have all documents uploaded on the Athletic Clearance website and be cleared by the athletic director in order to participate.
They must also have a 2.0 or higher GPA on the first 9 weeks grading period.
Boy's tryouts will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16th, from 3:15 to 5:15 and girl's tryouts will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17th, from 1:15 to 3:15.

The football game against Sebring Middle School will be played tomorrow, October 15th at 6:00pm at the Sebring High School Football Field (Fireman's Field). You can pre-purchase tickets on GoFan or you can pay with Cash at the Gate. Please come out and help our cheerleaders cheer our boys on to another victory! Go Red!
APMS Families: This is just to inform you that all after school activities have been canceled for today. Students will go home their usual way. This includes football practice, softball game, and after school tutoring.

Boy's Tryouts will be October 15th from 3:15pm to 5:oopm
Girl's Tryouts will be October 17th from 1:15pm to 3:15pm (this is an early release day)
In order to be eligible for tryouts, all paperwork must be uploaded to the Athletic Clearance Website AND approved by the Athletic Director prior to being eligible to tryout.

Did you know that you can check to see if your student has overdue library book fines or Chromebook fees/fines?
1. To check, log into https://destiny.highlands.k12.fl.us/district/servlet/presentdistrictloginform.do and in the top right corner, click "Log in".
2. Username is the Student ID#.
3. Password is the same one used to get into your student's Chromebook.
4. Once you have logged in, click the "MY INFO" tab at the top left to see resource information.
If your student has a fine or fee, you can then go to this link: https://highlands.revtrak.net/middle-schools-page/avon-park-middle/apm-fees-and-fines/#/list and pay the appropriate amount.
Basketball conditioning for boys will be next Monday, Tuesday, and Wendesday (Sept. 30th, Oct. 1st, and Oct. 2nd) immediately after school until 4:00 PM.
All paperwork must be uploaded to the Athletic Clearance website before they can attend conditioning.
This is only for those boys who are not playing football.
