Happy Monday Wildcats ๐ We had a fantastic first week of school! ๐ฅ Breakfast will close at 7:25 a.m. โฐ The tardy bell rings at 7:30 a.m. If your child is not in his/her classroom at 7:30 they are marked tardy. If your child arrives after 7:30 a.m. a parent/guardian must sign them in at the front office. ๐ Dismissal is at 2:00 p.m. ๐ Parent pick-up is going much quicker, please be sure to pick up your child before 2:30 p.m. ๐ Tennis shoes (tennis shoe-like) must be worn every day. Crocs, sandals, and boots are NOT
permitted. โ๏ธHoodies and/or jackets must not be oversized and should be left in the classroom for PE and recess. It is very hot outside and we do not want our Wildcats overheating. Be sure students have on dress code appropriate clothing under their hoodie/jacket daily. ๐ง Water bottles may not have straws and only water is permitted. โ๏ธIf you are checking your child out early during their specials or lunch they will not be able to get their backpack until they return the following day. This protects teachers' planning time and duty-free lunch. ๐ฒ Dismissal changes are not taken over the phone, please send in a handwritten note to change how your child is to go home. ๐ Friday August 23rd is "๐งข and ๐ถ Day". Bring a $1 to support our positive behavior program and wear a hat and sunglasses for the day. ๐ Wednesday, August 28th is a 2-hour Early Release, all students will be dismissed at noon.

This morning, Mrs. Waters' students are taking part in The School Board of Highlands County's adaptive PE "Special Stars" district event at Fireman's Field. The excitement among the students was heightened as they left the campus and found the entire school outside cheering them on! Such compassion and team spirit among our Wildcats are truly inspiring!
